Anna Kate recently watched "Tinkerbell and the Great Fairy Rescue." Ever since then, she has been talking a lot about fairies and flying. I found her sitting in the window sill chatting away with her fairy friends!

Photo shoot!

We spent a lot of time Saturday trying to get some updated photos of the grandkids.

These were the best we got... and I had to do some head swapping to get these! :)

It was pretty funny to look through the 500 pictures and see all the many expressions these kids can make.

25 Weeks Old

I forgot to bring the tiger to Puyallup so we had to wait to do pics until we got back Sunday night.

Isaac at 25 weeks old:

He can get up on his hands and knees and rocks back and forth... I'm not ready for him to be mobile!
Gets his arms and legs stuck between the slats in the crib.
He's discovered the washcloth during bath time. He loves to suck on it and even cried when I took it away from him.
He is a good traveler. Hardly makes a peep when we make our long drives. (That might have something to do with him being able to watch whatever movie Anna Kate watches by looking in his mirror!)
Likes to be scared - it always makes him laugh.
Back to really nursing instead of snacking.
Still not sleeping more than 4 hours at a time at night.
Happiest, easiest-going baby ever!

Thanksgiving

Anna Kate, Isaac and I headed down to Puyallup without Mike for another Thanksgiving dinner with my family. Mike stayed home to wait for the repair man to come and make sure our furnace got fixed.

Anna Kate had a great time playing with cousins.

I talked camera stuff with Joey.

Patrick's team won the gingerbread house contest.

Papa entertained Isaac!

I didn't get very many photos Friday but made up for it with our photo shoot on Saturday!

Thanksgiving!

Late Wednesday night I commented to Mike that our house was really cold. He thought so too and went and checked the thermostat. It was a couple of degrees lower than usual so he clicked it on and went back to bed. We waited and waited for the furnace to turn on but it never did. Mike went out to the garage to see what was going on. Unfortunately, the furnace was broke. Fortunately, we have a gas fireplace that does a pretty good job of heating our home. The combination of getting snow overnight and not wanting to leave our house with a broken furnace meant we were not going to be traveling out of town. The Proffitt family heard of our change of plans and invited us over for Thanksgiving dinner! It was delicious and lots of fun visiting with them and the other families that were there. Thank you Janeal and Jim!

These cookies turned out cute but I spent the entire day on them. Probably not the best use of my time...

Creative outfit

Anna Kate is still having fun dressing up. Usually it's as a princess or, in this case, a rock n' roll girl. Her sequin jacket is actually a Build-A-Bear jacket. She also got the bears pants on but took them off because she said it hurt to sit down.

Turkey Time

Anna Kate's preschool had a fun little Thanksgiving feast. They made cute placemats and fun handprint turkeys for gifts for their parents.

Anna Kate loves to use her bath time crayons. (I do not enjoy the ring around the tub they leave!) She is really into writing letters of the alphabet lately. I love how she turned the "C' into a happy little guy.

24 Weeks Old

Isaac at 24 Weeks:

Has decided he only wants to nurse just long enough so he isn't starving but not long enough that he's full. It's driving me crazy!
Almost gets up on his hands and knees.
Scoots backwards although not on purpose.
The other morning I was laying in bed listening to him stir and waiting for him to wake up. I finally sat up and he pushed himself up at the same time and gave me a big smile as if to say, "I've been waiting for you!"
Loves to play with his toes the most but chews on any toy you give him.

Frozen Snow

We got a little snow last night. Most of it was gone by the morning. Anna Kate asked to go out and play in it. So I bundled her up and sent her out. All the snow that was still there was frozen so not much fun to play with. At least she looked cute!
