Look what I made...

I made a cute pink paisley slip cover for my camera strap!

I'd seen ones being sold (here and here) and thought I could make one. My first attempt didn't work out so well but I finally figured it out. I even put a little padding in there to make it a little more comfortable on my neck. And since I didn't make a whole new strap (like this one and this one) I can change the cover whenever I feel like something new!

Next I'm going to attempt to make a matching bag... maybe!

Anna Kate's new book

Anna Kate loves to look at pictures of herself - on the camera, on the computer, in frames and in print! Unfortunately, these are a little dangerous or difficult for her to carry around by herself! So I've been thinking on what I could do/make so she could safely have pictures of herself. This past weekend I made her this fabric book. Now she can look at herself all she wants and wrinkle and chew on the pictures to her heart's content. Plus it closes with a little velcro - one of her other favorites!
