37 Weeks Old

Tongue

Anna Kate cannot stop sticking her tongue out! This happened the last time she had teeth coming in. So strange...

I had to put a cute one in too!

Grumpy!

Miss Anna Kate woke up from her after church nap GRUMPY! Nothing was going her way and she was letting me know it. She's usually such a happy girl that it was almost funny to see her like this... I said almost funny!

She kept giving me these strange faces.

If you look closely on this one you can see two of her three new teeth coming in on top... maybe that's what was making her grumpy!

I was eventually able to get some smiles out of her!

Baby Love

Anna Kate loves to crawl into her closet and look at the pictures of babies on her wipes and diapers. In fact, she goes crazy when she sees any baby... even herself in the mirror!

Balanced

I know I've mentioned before that Anna Kate loves to play at her toy box. She usually has one hand on the toy box as she grabs for a toy but now she will grab a toy, balance herself by leaning on the toy box and then play with the toy using both hands! When she's really feeling brave, she will turn towards me, reach for my hand and take a step or two to me. She's growing up too fast!!!

Climb every mountain...

I turned over Anna Kate's carseat because she kept crawling in it and tipping it onto herself. Of course, that wasn't going to stop her from climbing on top of it!

36 Weeks Old

Anna Kate has been sick this past week. Her first cold... poor girl! But besides the runny nose and cough, you wouldn't know she was sick because she has been as happy as ever!

Fun visit in Puyallup

Anna Kate and I went to Puyallup and stayed at Grandma and Papa's for a couple days. I'm disappointed I didn't pull out my camera more! Here are a couple...

35 Weeks / 8 Months Old

We think Anna Kate is as sweet as they come! She is a very happy and BUSY girl. I've been using the Baby Bjorn again lately (with Anna Kate facing outwards) and I get all kinds of comments on how cute she is and how funny she is with her arms and legs going like crazy! She just goes and goes and goes. Today she was trying to copy my whistling but she does this really high-pitched scream instead. Funny and so smart! She loves to pull up to her feet and has started reaching for our hands and tries to take a few steps.

Sad news...

My camera is broken!!! It just stopped working after taking 10 or so pictures tonight. UGH! I'm sending it in to be repaired. Hopefully this won't be the last picture it takes:

Toy Box

I don't think Anna Kate has anything in particular she is looking for but she is ALWAYS pulling herself up on her toy box and then pulling a toy out. She will play with it for a couple minutes and then she's back at the toy box looking for something else. It isn't long before the toy box is half empty and she is surrounded by toys.

34 Weeks Old

This week Anna Kate went to storytime at the library. She loved it! They sang all her favorite songs and she even danced to the music! Anna Kate has started playing peek-a-boo on her own. She will hold something up over her face and wait for me to say, "Where's Anna Kate?" and then she brings it down and smiles. And she'll do it over, and over, and over... :)
